How it works for a PTA

1. Create the campaign. An officer sets up the PTA and the campaign online and sets a goal. Donations go straight to your PTA's own Stripe account.

2. Add students by class. Paste the roster or upload a CSV, then group students by class or grade.

3. Send the cards home. Print a QR card for each student for take-home folders, or share each student's link by text or email. When Grandma scans Maya's card, the gift is credited to Maya and to her class.

4. Follow the totals. Officers see every gift by student and by class or grade, and can export the donations as a CSV file for the PTA's records.

Class totals

The public campaign page can show the top student fundraisers. If your school prefers, hide student totals and show only class totals.

Event tickets

Sell free or paid tickets for the carnival, movie night, or spring dance, and check families in at the door with the QR code on their ticket.

Silent auction

Post gala auction items with a photo, a reserve, and a buy-now price. Families bid from their phones and get an email if someone outbids them.

Fun runs and read-a-thons

Sponsors can pledge per mile or per minute read. Students log distance with GPS or reading time with a timer in the phone browser. ScanRaise flags suspicious entries so you can check them before any sponsor is charged.

For school use, ScanRaise is listed in the SDPC resource registry and provides parental-consent and student-data controls designed to support schools' COPPA and FERPA obligations. Clever and ClassLink sign-in is available for enabled organizations, subject to provider and school or district approval. Compliance depends on each organization's configuration and use. What it costs

ScanRaise keeps 2.5% of each donation. Stripe also charges a card-processing fee. There is no setup or monthly fee, and donors can choose to cover the fees.
