How a robotics team uses it

1. Create the season campaign. A coach or parent lead sets up the campaign online with the season budget as the goal. Donations go straight to the team's or booster group's own Stripe account.

2. Add the roster. Paste the roster. If your program fields more than one competition team, group students by team.

3. Bring the cards to demos. Students hand out cards at STEM nights and library demos, right after people have watched the robot drive.

4. Report to sponsors. See totals by student and team, and export donations as a CSV for sponsor reports and the school's records.

Event tickets

Sell tickets to a robot reveal or sponsor night, and scan each ticket's QR code at the door.

Employer matching

After giving, donors can search for their employer to see how to request a match.

Build-a-thons

Sponsors pledge per hour of build or coding time, and students log sessions with a timer in the phone browser. ScanRaise flags suspicious entries so you can check them before any sponsor is charged.

For school use, ScanRaise is listed in the SDPC resource registry and provides parental-consent and student-data controls designed to support schools' COPPA and FERPA obligations. Clever and ClassLink sign-in is available for enabled organizations, subject to provider and school or district approval. Compliance depends on each organization's configuration and use. Fees

ScanRaise keeps 2.5% of each donation, and Stripe adds its own card-processing fee. There is no setup or monthly fee.
