Planning a trip fundraiser

1. Create the trip campaign. A teacher or parent lead sets up the campaign online with the trip budget as the goal. Donations go straight to your organization's own Stripe account.

2. Add the travelers. Paste the roster and group students however helps you plan, such as by homeroom, chaperone, or bus.

3. Start early with relatives. Students send their links to grandparents and relatives months before departure, and hand out cards at school events and family gatherings.

4. Keep the books. See totals by student and group, and export donations as a CSV for the school bookkeeper.

Sell tickets to a trivia night or a spaghetti dinner for the trip, and scan each ticket's QR code at the door.

What it costs

ScanRaise keeps 2.5% of each donation, and Stripe charges a separate card-processing fee. There is no setup or monthly fee.
