For Auctions
Mobile auctions, no separate platform required
Silent auctions on every donor's phone. Reserve price gates the auction so a piece doesn't sell below value. Buy-now lets a determined bidder end the lot early. For fine art: full auction-house metadata (medium, dimensions, year, low/high estimate, provenance) with up to 12 photos per lot. Winner emails fire automatically when the lot closes.

What ships with the auction module
Mobile bidding. Bidders scan the QR or visit the auction page. Tap to bid. Outbid notifications via email. No bidding paddles, no clipboards, no auction-night chaos.
Reserve price. Set a private floor. If bids stay below the reserve, the lot closes unsold (no winner email, no embarrassment). Bidders see a "reserve met / not yet met" badge but never the reserve number itself.
Buy-now. Set a price at which a bidder can end the auction immediately. Once paid, the lot closes; no further bids accepted.
Up to 12 photos per lot. Front, detail, signature, hanging shot, condition close-ups. Bidders swipe through on mobile, expand to full-screen on desktop. Critical for fine-art and collectibles.
Auction-house metadata. Medium, dimensions, year created, low/high estimate range, provenance. The estimate range displays alongside the current bid so collectors know whether a piece is below, at, or above the high estimate.
Winner email + Stripe Connect payment. Auction closes, winner email fires automatically with payment link. Stripe Connect routes the proceeds; ScanRaise's 2.5% comes off the platform side.
Auction formats that work
Silent auction at a gala. 30-50 lots, mobile bidding open from cocktail hour through dessert. Final-call countdown timer in the last 5 minutes. Lots close in waves so checkout doesn't bottleneck.
Online-only fine-art auction. Two-week run. Each lot has 4-8 photos and full auction-house metadata. Reserves protect the gallery's curation; buy-now closes hot lots fast.
School parents-bid-on-experiences. "Lunch with the principal", "Front-row seats at the spring concert", "Headmaster for a day". 10-15 lots run during a 7-day giving week. Per-class winners.
Sports memorabilia. Signed jerseys, game-used gear, locker-room experiences. Reserve protects rare items; buy-now offers an instant-purchase price for high-demand lots.
