How ScanRaise supports a wellness fundraiser

Reviewable activity sources. Participants submit phone-browser GPS distance or step-counter results as the primary paths. Participants can optionally connect Fitbit, select a day, review that day's daily summary of steps, distance, and active minutes, and choose whether to import it. The built-in GPS tracker uses speed and path consistency checks to flag suspicious activity.

Connect activity to a charitable goal. The team selects a beneficiary, configures a pledge rate, and reviews eligible activity before the organizer finalizes totals.

Reportable to leadership. The dashboard exports CSV and PDF reports: total participation, miles per employee, top performers, charity payout. Numbers HR and finance can put in the next slide deck.

Social by default. Per-team leaderboards, crown and flame badges for leaders. The whole company can see who's racking up miles. Motivation comes from the team, not from a dashboard.

How it fits an existing wellness program

Run alongside your existing wellness program. Participants track distance or steps in the ScanRaise phone-browser flow. As an optional path, each Fitbit import begins when the participant selects a day, reviews that daily summary, and chooses to import it.

Configure the unit and the rate at campaign creation. $1 per mile, $0.50 per 1,000 steps, $5 per stair flight, $10 per gym visit. Whatever fits the budget.

The company's pledge sits at the top of the campaign. Employees can add personal pledges from friends and family who want to sponsor their effort.

Sponsors securely save a card with Stripe without a charge at pledge time. When the campaign closes, the organizer finalizes eligible verified totals and ScanRaise attempts each charge, never above the sponsor's authorized maximum. Failed charges remain visible and may require sponsor authentication or a secure card update. The finalized activity and pledge totals support your wellness program reporting.

ScanRaise charges a 2.5% platform fee with no setup cost, monthly minimum, or per-employee license. Stripe processing is separate.

Pair with American Heart Association awareness. Venue staff or organizers review each participant's completed floors and record the result in Athon Manager. A Fitbit daily summary contains steps, distance, and active minutes for the selected day, but it does not supply stair flights or floor totals. The company can donate per eligible floor after organizer finalization.
