Walkathon App and Software with Per-Mile Pledges

ScanRaise is a browser-based walkathon app for schools, teams, workplaces, and nonprofits. Participants track with phone-browser GPS or a browser step counter, sponsors make per-mile and other per-unit pledges up to a maximum they set, and nobody is charged until you finalize the totals.

Choose an event format

Single-day loop. One location and a marked loop with a set check-in time. Volunteers count laps, or participants track their own distance. Plan water, rest stops, accessibility, and a weather backup.

Date window. Participants walk or run on their own schedule and routes between an opening and a closing date. Say which tracking methods count and when you will review results.

Event day plus remote. Hold one in-person walk and open a remote window for people who cannot attend. Use the same unit for both so totals line up.

Flat-gift walk. Take flat gifts only. Nothing is tracked, and no pledge is charged after the event.

Walkathon app tracking options

GPS distance. A participant opens a private tracking page and records distance with GPS in the phone browser. Odd speeds, jumps, and straight-line paths are flagged for your review.

Step counter. On a supported phone browser, participants can turn on step counting. No ScanRaise app is required. The same counter runs step challenges and stair climbs.

Fitbit, optional. Participants can optionally connect Fitbit, review today's daily summary of steps, distance, and active minutes, and choose whether to import it. Optional Fitbit imports require a Fitbit account and app.

Timer and daily logs. Read-a-thons and math-a-thons use a timer or a count the participant enters each day, and push-up challenges log reps in the tracker.

Organizer entry. If a phone or sensor fails, the organizer can record a manual result.

Teams compete on steps, stair flights, or logged push-ups, and the company or coworkers pledge per unit up to a cap.

Fees

ScanRaise keeps 2.5% of each donation or completed pledge charge, and Stripe charges its own processing fee. There is no setup or monthly fee.
