Fire departments, EMS squads, and other first responder groups use ScanRaise to give every volunteer a QR code and donation link, with gifts tracked by volunteer, station, and campaign. Running a boot drive with ScanRaise

1. Set up the drive. Create the campaign online, add each volunteer, and group them by station or shift. Donations go straight to the department's or association's own Stripe account.

2. Keep the boot for cash. The boot still collects cash. A sign with a large QR code, aimed at passengers and people on foot, gives everyone else a way to give.

3. Hand drivers a card. Nobody should scan while a car is moving. Volunteers pass a card with their QR code through the window, and the driver can give after parking.

4. Count it up. Count the cash the way you always do. Online gifts are already totaled by volunteer and station, and you can export them as a CSV for the board.

Breakfast and banquet tickets

Sell tickets ahead of the pancake breakfast or the annual banquet, and scan each ticket's QR code at the door.

Text-to-give

Supporters can text a volunteer's code or the department's keyword to the ScanRaise text-to-give number and get one reply with the donation link.

Equipment campaigns

Raise money for one piece of gear people can picture, such as a thermal imaging camera, with a goal and a progress bar on the campaign page.

Banquet auction

Put donated items and experiences up for bid on phones. Items can have a reserve and a buy-now price, and bidders get an email when someone outbids them.

Cost

ScanRaise keeps 2.5% of each donation, and Stripe charges its own card-processing fee. There is no setup or monthly fee.
