What ScanRaise is good for
Per-person QR cards
Every participant gets a printable card, so a neighbor's $20 is credited to the right kid, class, or team.
A flat fee
A 2.5% platform fee per donation plus Stripe processing. No setup fee, monthly fee, or per-participant charge.
Walkathons and read-a-thons
Sponsors pledge per mile or page up to a cap, and kids track in a phone browser with no ScanRaise app. Optional Fitbit imports require a Fitbit account and app.
Schools
Parental-consent controls for kids under 13, and Clever and ClassLink sign-in where the provider and district have approved it.
When another platform may fit better
Personal crowdfunding
If you are raising money for yourself, such as a medical bill, a consumer crowdfunding site is a better fit.
Nonprofits on tip-based platforms
Some nonprofit platforms charge no platform fee and ask donors for an optional tip instead. If your donors tip, that can cost you less.
Full-service campaigns
