The classic "X% of tonight's sales go to the local school" night, but with auto-tally instead of end-of-night arithmetic. QR table tents let diners donate directly. Round-up at point of sale rolls everything up. The school PTA, the youth team, the firehouse fund: each gets a check via Stripe instead of a paper handoff.

Three restaurant fundraiser formats ScanRaise powers
Percentage night. "20% of all sales tonight to Lincoln Elementary PTA." Diners scan a table-tent QR, the QR opens a "donate the round-up" page that splits at end of night. Restaurant matches the total via cart payment after close.
Dine-and-donate. Patrons book a reservation through the regular booking system, the restaurant donates a flat per-cover fee to a chosen charity. Diners can add personal pledges via the QR code on the tent.
Round-up at POS. Square / Toast / Clover POS integration: diner's check rounds up to the next dollar; the cents land in a daily ScanRaise sponsorship pool. End-of-night, restaurant allocates to the chosen beneficiary.
Restaurant-side workflow
Pre-approve a beneficiary shortlist. Local school, youth team, firehouse fund, food bank. Patrons can only donate to the shortlist; the restaurant never gets surprised by a controversial charity.
Print QR table tents. ScanRaise generates the print-ready PDF. Restaurant prints, places at every table.
Run the night. Patrons scan the QR, pick a beneficiary, donate. Live total visible if you want one ("we're at $1,247 raised tonight!").
Settle up. End of night, the restaurant either runs the cart-mode checkout to match the night's percentage commitment, or just lets patron donations route directly. Receipts are auto-emailed.
