Restaurant and Brewery Fundraiser Nights

When a local restaurant or brewery gives part of a night's sales to your PTA, team, or cause, ScanRaise adds a way for guests to give directly. Put your campaign's QR code on table tents or coasters, and every gift goes to your organization's own Stripe account with an emailed donation confirmation for the donor.

How to run the night

1. Agree on the format in writing. A percentage of the night's sales, a flat amount per guest, or a set amount per pint, plus the hours and which sales count. The venue tracks its own sales; ScanRaise does not read its register.

2. Print the codes. Download your campaign's QR code and print it on table tents, coasters, or a sign at the host stand.

3. Work the room. Volunteers greet guests and point them to the code. Guests scan and give any amount from their phones, and a live display can show the running total.

4. Collect the venue's share. After the night, the venue gives its promised amount through your donation page. If several organizations share one night, each organization's supporters give on that organization's own donation page.

For a trivia night or a tasting with a cover charge, sell tickets ahead and check guests in at the door.

Each donor gets an emailed donation confirmation. Tax deductibility depends on your organization's status and whether the donor received anything in return.

An escape room, bowling alley, or ice cream shop can host a give-back night too. The venue gives its share through your donation page, and guests scan your code.

Your organization, not staff

Gifts go to a real organization's Stripe account. ScanRaise does not pay tips, staff, or individuals.

What it costs

ScanRaise keeps 2.5% of each donation, and Stripe charges a card-processing fee. There is no setup or monthly fee.
