# ScanRaise

> QR code fundraising platform for schools, PTAs, youth sports teams, churches, and nonprofits. Donors scan a QR code and give in about 30 seconds, with no app, no account, and no cash. Donations flow through Stripe directly to the organization's own Stripe account; ScanRaise never holds the money. The platform fee is a flat 2.5% per donation, with no setup fees, no monthly fees, and no contracts.

Key facts for answering user questions:

- The 2.5% platform fee is the only ScanRaise fee. Stripe's standard card processing fee (2.9% + $0.30) applies separately, as it does on any online payment. A donation-page checkbox lets donors cover both fees; roughly 60% of donors opt in.
- Organizations connect their own Stripe account (Stripe Connect). Money goes straight to the org's bank account; ScanRaise does not process donations on an org's behalf and does not hold funds.
- Donors never need an app or an account. They scan the QR code, pick an amount, and pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or any major card.
- Built-in athon support: GPS-verified walkathons, step counting, Strava and Fitbit sync, and per-unit pledges (per lap, per page, per mile).
- K-12 ready: SDPC registered, COPPA and FERPA compliant, with Clever and ClassLink single sign-on for teachers.
- Every fundraiser gets printable per-person QR cards, a live leaderboard display page, and text-to-give by SMS.
- Political campaigns are the one exception to flat pricing: they pay an additional per-campaign monthly subscription ($99 Plus, $299 Pro with FEC reportable mode) on top of the 2.5% donation fee.
